Learn a bit more about the team at Auto Garage.
Tony has over 20 years experience in the Automotive Industry across many facets. Tony is an A-Grade Automotive Engineer who has worked in and managed private workshops and worked within a dealership.
Tony has also been extensively involved in both Dirt track racing- winning multiple national Sprintcar titles, and Tarmac Motor Racing with Andy Booth’s Supertourer and Steve Owen from FPR. Tony now works preparing and trackside with BNT V8’s and GTRNZ.
Tony is a Holden Certified Technician, Kia Master Level Technician and FIA accredited Motorsport Certified.
Michelle has spent the majority of her working career in the Motor Industry, starting as a receptionist in 2004 and working her way through different roles to finally finding her place in the Service side of operations. Michelle was bought up around American & Australian Muscle cars, and thanks to her husband, she now has a passion for JDM classics – and lucky enough to own a few! You will also find Michelle driving a lot around various back roads of Auckland with her stereo up loud!
When Michelle not tinkering or at a race track with her family, she like to cook & bake, along with the odd bit of cake decorating. Feeding people makes her happy.
Michelle has an 18 year old daughter and 3 cats that ensure home is an entertaining place to be!
Michelle loves being part of the team here at Auto Garage, as we share a passion for cars and a high standard of workmanship along with a family-like rapport with our customers, which is very important to her.

Carter has completed his Automotive Engineering Level 3 Certificate and is enjoying getting stuck into his Automotive Apprenticeship at Auto Garage. Carter has been with us since July 2021. He has a passion for cars and motorsport and is currently building towards having a street legal rally/race car to do track and rally days with. Carter really enjoys learning more about the automotive industry and working towards becoming the best mechanic he can.
Hannah works behind the scenes on the administration of the business part time while juggling two children and a career as a Physiotherapist.
